Q: Where did you grow up?

A:  I was originally born in Mexico, but I grew up in a small town called Lago Vista.

Q: Where did you go to school and what did you study?

A: I attended University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations. I was on the NCAA rowing team and love being active and in water. I loved my college experience as a Longhorn and wouldn’t trade it for the world from being in a sorority to playing a college level sport, I managed a community garden and studied abroad in Mexico City.

Q: How long have you been in the real estate industry?

A: I have worked in the real estate industry for about ten years since I was in college. In different aspects and sales which are the areas where I particularly thrive. I started cleaning houses for Blackburn Homes four years ago and always liked the idea of being a trusted advisor for someone buying a home.

Q: Why do you love Austin?

A: I have a passion for traveling and meeting people, so I love working in real estate because it allows me to meet people from all over and show them my city.

Q: We all know the notorious Hazel (her loyal & famous pup), tell us more about her!

A: Hazel is a Parti Yorki. She is my world, and she’s definitely more than a pet to me-- she’s my companion. We may butt heads a lot but at the end of the day she’s my baby, and I need to give her the best life possible.

Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

A: My passion is traveling and spreading kindness. I have traveled to over ten countries, but my biggest accomplishment has been cycling to Alaska from Austin on a bike for 70 days (about 2 and a half months) with a group of teammates as we raised awareness for cancer prevention and raised money for cancer research.

The best part of the job for me is being a trusted advisor to future home owners and getting to know people from all over the area. I love being able to walk people through the buying process as they close on their home because each individual experience is unique
